against dental costs. It insures against the expense of treatment and care of
dental disease and accident to teeth. This plan allows a particular group of
patients to receive dental care from a defined panel of dentists.

HEALTH INSURANCE
The comprehensive health care reform law enacted in March 2010.
The law has 3 primary goals:

Make affordable health insurance available to more people. The law
provides consumers with subsidies (“premium tax credits”) that lower
costs for households with incomes between 100% and 400% of the
federal poverty level.

Expand the Medicaid program to cover all adults with income below
138% of the federal poverty level. (Not all states have expanded their
Medicaid programs.)
•
Support innovative medical care delivery methods designed to lower
the costs of health care generally.
Web Broker Entity Agreement with the Federal Government for
Affordable Care Enrollments.
•
Under this agreement, NR Insurance Inc., will establish an enrollment
channel with access to the Federal Data Hub to assist and facilitate the
enrollment of eligible individual families and businesses into qualified
health insurance plans. As a Web Broker Entity (WBE), NR Insurance
Inc. will exchange information such as eligibility determinations with
the Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) and provide a Web Portal
for individual eligible for federal subsidies.

THE AFFORDABLE
CARE ACT
Vision insurance helps offset the costs of routine eye exams and also helps
pay for vision correction wear, like eyeglasses, that may be prescribed by
physicians or eye-care specialists. Vision insurance is generally considered
supplemental insurance, which means that consumers generally buy vision
insurance in addition to other types of medical insurance policies.
